Important Announcement Regarding OAMT President!

Dear Oregon Music Therapy Community,

Our President, Caroline Callaway, will be leaving Portland in the upcoming weeks. This means that Caroline will be stepping down as president, and President Elect, Danielle Oar will take her place.

In accordance with our bylaws, the Executive Board voted to have the position of President Elect left vacant until our next election (January 2017). We are so grateful to Caroline and all the energy and hard work she brought to the Oregon music therapy community!

Caroline asked that we share this message with you:

To the Music Therapists of Oregon.

As some of you are aware of I will be leaving Portland next week due to unforeseen circumstances. While I am excited for what my next chapter will bring, I would be remised if I didn't thank all of you for being a part of this one. OAMT made my transition from intern to therapist seamless. I have enjoyed serving the board as in the positions of Public Relations Coordinator, President Elect, and President. I appreciate all that I have learned from each one of you as an intern and as a professional and look forward to continuing to connect in the future. Thank you for your kind words and support in this difficult time.

Caroline
